Re: Brownhills Glass Mallory mono race

Don't want you having glass cleaner around, might brighten up your bins and go even quicker!

Dermot

I assume that is the Carbon Ceramic aka Carbon Metallic. Either which year Dallara or how thick are the pads? They changed to a thinner, 16mm pad in 2002, I think.

Re: Oil Catch Tanks

The catch tank is within the bellhousing and there is a spy glass on the side to check the level.

Re: Castle Combe

List I have says 30m before finish line is the switch location so I assume there is a beacon. Left or right of direction of travel I do not know.

Re: Steering Wheel Extensions

What is the best way to extend the steering column on a single seater? So that I can sit further back? I have seen plenty of spacers for sale on Demon Tweeks and the like, but mine is the three bolt triangular design. And they type they sell have more holes arranged in a circle! Are there commercia...

Re: Donington beacon position

Mark

PM me your email address and I will send you a pdf file which has the location of every circuit beacon in the UK and Eire and where to switch them on if they are not on when you go testing.

Donington is on the pit lane wall at the exit and it is on permanently.

Re: Harness fixing point???

Read K 2.1.6. It says five or six mounting points not four. Did we not have an issue with scrutineering FVJs and FVLs a few years ago because of this?

Re: Specials in Mono

..............agree with that so long as they all have to run E93A engines. Be generous though, any state of tune. Just keep in mind weight limits were introduced for safety reasons not competitive ones. viz Chapman and building in lightness etc. 70 kgs reduction in the M2000 class type car is a lo...

Re: Specials in Mono

As my last thread seems to have come happily to an amicable conclusion (albeit denying that pro teams are contrary to the true spirit of Mono and also hovering around the fact that everyone should have an allocated paddock space) how about this for a point of discussion? Special building was the fo...
