Re: Whose engine on the dyno?
Plus he'll need to get the gear ratios spot on to get the most from it. Would be interesting to do a comparison at the wheels. One of the advantages of the torque of the VX, paticularly on 45s and 36mm chokes is that you can run as a four speed and indeed at Brands a three speed. This means you can...

Re: Eligibility Question
The Monoposto Championship is for Single Seater Racing cars which definition in the Blue Book states 'the construction must be symmetrical' and 'when weighed without driver the half weight either side must be equal to half the weight +/- 5%. Am I correct that some later Mallocks have offset engines?...

Re: Surprise Choice of Ferrari Back-Up Driver
I am shocked more so than anyone else on this news. To be told via Startline of this news is a little disappointing. As Magic Motorsports 3rd and reserve driver I thought I would be in contention for this opportunity. The in season testing ban has also dented any chances too I suspect. As for KERS ...

Re: Donington Experience and the BRSCC
For Silverstone, what is the chance of me entering the car for both 2000 class and the usual 1600/1800/1000 etc? Atleast that way I can get more track time.... Minimum weight may be an issue. Tony. Being the expert that you are on these cars, is the injection and indeed the engine itself on the 16V...

Re: COUNCIL OPERATING NOISE CHECKS AS CROFT CIRCUIT
What would be interesting to know is whether it is the static test on race day/test day that the Council is participating in or is it an independent drive by test. Several circuits that I know of already have a drive by test either performed by the local council or one from which all the data has to...

Re: Refurbishing Technomag wheels???
I cannot comment on the correct primer if indeed it is anything special. However if you have the wheels blasted and polished then I recommend you have them lacquered. If you don't they will lose air as the magnesium will be slightly porous and the outside surface exposed to the air will oxidise in w...
