Re: Crash Helmet Stickers

I agree with Offline's reasoning. A ban on stickers that was introduced because of possible degredation of injected plastic helmets is perceived to extend to all helmets, by some. Our local yacht manufacturer decorates his grp hulls with vinyl strips, and then the hulls sit in a horrible concoction ...

So come on Andrew. If you can't get it right then you'll have to purchase an air brush or whatever it is these guys use.

Sounds like a somewhat impudent challenge to me.

In my case I think that Andrew did a grand job with unpromising material. :D

Re: What do people think of this?

I am most impressed by the title page of 'Racing Exposure' and would like to think that there is room for a successful electronic magazine on the Web. However, like Tony I have reservations. Tony describes club competitors a selfish, I would like to be a bit more generous, and attribute their lack o...

They were also partially reponsible for the demise of "Circuit Driver" Magazine.

Andy,

Interesting, like you I was a enthusiastic subscriber to 'Circuit Driver', can you explain further? By email if necessary.

Regards,

Patrick

Re: potential new guy did make silverstone.

Bit of a concern as not only do I need to loose about 10 stone to match the weight of kat, I need 1/2 a tonne of torque, about 40bhp and big bag of hope, ability and luck. I think the first on the list and perhaps the last will be the biggest challenge. Yesterday was a bit weird with regard to some...

Re: GRID SIZES

Over the last ten seasons I have done over a hundred races with Monoposto and reported many of them. But I am struggling to remember any where simple speed difference, as envisaged by Karl, was the cause of a collision. It is unusual for a faster car to collide with the back of a slower car, but thi...

Re: GRID SIZES

I think that it may be worth pointing out that any editor may write a column that is intended to be contentious rather than a serious contribuition to policy (though I am sure that I have never acted or would act in such a way..........). Observing several races from current role as spectator/report...

Re: New guy (help Required)

Speaking as an ex-Monoposto wife - wife of an ex Monoposto driver that is, not ex-wife of a Monoposto driver I can honestly say I had no real idea how much it was all costing because I never asked! I have never been very interested in home improvements and that sort of stuff but had I heard the word...

Having scored useful points with his 1800 racing in the 2000 class, Peter has now has a 'proper 2000'. Its first outing was to be at Donington...............

Re: Seems cicumstances are against me, yet again!

As this week demonstrates, date has very little to do with the English weather, the end of season October meeting at Snetterton, has provided excellent weather for racing for the last two seasons. In 2008, this meeting provided some of the best conditions for racing and spectating for the whole seas...

Re: Breakdown Recovery Question

You could try:

info@traffords-insurance.co.uk

They claim to insure caravans, and goods in transit, and have just given me a deal on my microlight that those involved in motor racing would look at in disbelief. :D
