Re: Pirelli v Avons

Just seems crazy for me to have so much option. It just opens the door to running hill climb soft sticky slicks in qualifying and then a longer lasting Avon or Pirelli in the race and then have 3 or 4 different versions of wets to suit any condition? Just seems a waste of money. I will buy what ever...

Re: Pirelli v Avons

It is about time Mono looked to reduce costs for drivers and teams and set a tyre structure for the formula. Having it currently open adds massive cost to being at the front when it doesn't need to. I would be interested to see what other peoples thoughts are with having Pirelli as the regulation ty...

Re: CARTEK Flashing Rain Lights

I am just going to switch my light on and off when I drive. Flashing, so meets the regs :) Doesn't say how long you have to keep it up for.....

Re: 2 Day Meetings

1 qualifying session and 3 races over 2 days would be perfect for me. Everyone is different but the weekend away with like minded people is as fun as the racing itself.

Not that I have made it out this season but it wasn't for the lack of trying. See you all next year

Stud thread on Dallara bulkhead

Does anybody know what the threads are on the studs that screw into the bulkhead of a Dallara - the 4 at the bottom for the sump to bolt upto?

Thanks

Re: PIEDRAFITA

I assume if the Spanish engine is slower then you wouldn't have used it anyway Robbie :0 So your £20k investment is safe! Looking forward to seeing your car finished and out on track.

All credit to you for your above post.

Re: PIEDRAFITA

What is the price difference & power difference between the 2 engines - a normal Mono Toyota engine and a Spanish one? I must admit it would have been nice to be informed that the Spanish engine was being considered as it would have made it easier for me when I bought my Dallara chassis and have now...

Re: Track Limits

In Champion of Oulton last year we did a track walk and thought it would be funny to jump on the sensors and show V signs to the cameras....... Was very funny at the time till we got a bollocking in the drivers briefing when they pulled out the print offs of the images!!!!

Re: 2010 Calender!

I think the Mono dates look really good. I know of a couple of F4 drivers including myself who are looking forward to beating the 2.0l at a few rounds like Oulton, Croft and Thruxton and maybe Anglesey :) There is also a number of keen F4 drivers who would jump at the chance of racing at Spa. I am h...
