Bob Hatton

Postby RedRedWine » Tue Sep 11, 2018 8:29 am

I have received an email from Janice Hatton bearing very sad news.

"Bob passed away on Sunday 2nd, these are the funeral arrangements should you like to come. Bob's funeral will take place on Thursday 27th September, 11.45 am at the Amersham crematorium. Bob would have preferred no flowers however, donations to the Air Ambulance and or the medics who are placed at the race track where Bob passed, will be available to those that wish too. The donation information will be available on the day of the funeral. Given Bob's personality, the funeral will aim to be a celebration of his life and humorous where possible. There will be no formal dress code, casual and comfortable is appropriate given that the service will not be religious."

I feel sure that members will, like me, be very saddened by this news. Bob was a popular character in the paddock (particularly at the tea station!) and I always enjoyed a chat with him. We will miss him.
