Just looked at the 2010 results - Matt seemed to be between 0.2 and 1.0 seconds per lap faster than Kourosh at most circuits in most sessions (except Croft, where Kourosh was about 1 second per lap faster). So, given that evidence, it's reasonable to suggest Matt would have been quicker in the Renault at Brands. Indeed, in 2010, in cooler conditions (where getting heat in the tyres would have been harder), Matt went quicker on a smaller restrictor.

Indeed, on that evidence, the only engine conclusion possible is that a bigger restrictor makes cars slower. Perhaps someone should suggest a 15mm restrictor for Renaults in Mono and watch the records tumble!!!

Obviously no recent Formula Renault results for Mr Timms, but he has won Renault races and championships, so on that basis one has to surmise he's better than people that haven't won races or championships.

FR2000 is the new FVL

Competitive, looks right, goes well, easy to run - this car is PERFECT for mono...... and, again, its proven competitive.
