Superseded Classes

Whilst some classes are no longer with us, lap records were established and remain records...

Mono 2000 Formula was trialled in 2009, for 2000cc cars running F3 spec engines rather than the road derived engines most people in Mono2000 use.   Cars still had to comply with the MSA mandated 40mm ride height and the cars had to be remapped for 'pump' fuel.    The class was amalgamated with Mono2000 for the 2010 season.    Graham Read and Kevin Mason were the only entrants, Graham having the distinction of being the first, last and only Mono2000 Formula Champion!

The bike engined classes 1200S and 1200F were replaced with Mono1000 and Mono1400 for the 2009 season.   Mono1000 permitted more engine tuning so is the replacement for 1200F (Free), whereas Mono1400 had an increased engine capacity, a higher weight limit, but also standard engine, and therefore replaces 1200S (Standard)

In 2012, Mono1000 and Mono1400 were merged to form MotoMono.
