Mono FR2000

Mono FR2000

In terms of numbers built, the Tatuus Formula Renault is one of the most successful single seater racing cars made in recent history.    However a large number are lying dormant because they are no longer used professionally, and limited places to race them in the club arena.

To encourage more Formula Renaults out of hibernation, they are being moved from within Mono F3, to their own class for the 2017 season.

The full 2017 regulations will be available shortly, but will be based upon the existing 2016 regulations - ie cars conforming to 2006 & 2008 versions of the Formula Renault regulations (BARC), with certain regulations freed up.

Cars will wear an orange square identification symbol.

More details can be found in the draft 2017 technical regulations.

Caveat:  These details are an outline and the current club regulations must be referred to for full detailed requirements.
